Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Our Voice is a movement of internationals living in Denmark. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act (databeskyttelsesloven).
Our Voice is not a registered association. It is a movement run by volunteers. The person responsible for the personal data described in this policy (the data controller) is the founder and coordinator of Our Voice, named below.
Data controller: Simone Giuseppe Uggeri, founder and coordinator of Our Voice
Website: ourvoice.dk
Privacy contact: arcint870@protonmail.com
If you have any questions about how we handle your data, write to the privacy contact above.
2. What personal data we collect
We only collect the data we need. Depending on how you interact with us, this can include:

You attend our events: Photos or videos taken at the event, which we may share on our website and social media.
You visit our website: Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited (see section 8 on cookies)
Because Our Voice is a civic, political and democratic movement, the fact that you are a member may reveal your political opinions. Political opinions are a special category of personal data under GDPR, and we handle them with extra care (see section 3).
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
Managing your membership and keeping a member register: Membership agreement (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Sending our member newsletter and updates about our work: Membership agreement for members (art. 6(1)(b)); your consent for non-member subscribers (art. 6(1)(a)).
Organising events and debates, including member votes: Our legitimate interest in running the movement (art. 6(1)(f)).
Answering your questions: Our legitimate interest in replying to you (art. 6(1)(f)).
Publishing photos from events: Our legitimate interest in showing our activities (art. 6(1)(f)); your consent for close-up portraits (art. 6(1)(a)).

Keeping records the law requires, such as accounting for membership fees: Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
Political opinions. Where your membership reveals your political opinions, we process this under GDPR art. 9(2)(d). This allows a not-for-profit body with a political aim to process data about its members and people in regular contact with it, as part of its legitimate activities. We never share this data outside Our Voice without your explicit consent.
If you stand as a candidate for a list connected to Our Voice, your name and candidacy become public as part of the election process.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with political parties, employers or authorities without your consent, unless the law requires it.

Photos and posts we publish on social media (such as LinkedIn and Facebook) are also processed by those platforms under their own privacy policies.
